George & Junior 2

Trying to break my bad habit of drawing the forms too thin. I think I'm improving... or I hope so!

More Construction n' Stuff

'Coal Black and de Sebben Dwarfs' is one of the greatest cartoons of all time.

These are copied from the first Popeye short, from 1933. I love the opening scene of this cartoon; Popeye struts around singing a song about himself, while punching things for no good reason.

Some good ol' Tex Avery befere I head off. I'll be back on Sunday!

Tokyo Woes

John K says my drawings could be more 'organic', so I've tried to loosen up with my pencil line, and not think so much in terms of corners and such. Don't know if I'm there yet, but I'm gonna keep at it!

EDIT: I just had to copy this one! (below)

Fox and Crow in 'Beer Buddies'

This started out as a doodle of Fox and Crow having a few drinks in a bar, but soon grew into... THIS!!!

Composition 4

I've tried to apply some of the lessons I've learned from my studies to a drawing of my own - starring Fox and Crow!

Preston Blair 3

Preston Blair 2

Preston Blair

Took my Preston Blair book on holiday with me - I'm pretty sure I was the only guy on that beach who was drawing the hippo from Fantasia.

Hold on to yer butts folks, cos there's more where this came from!

This is a composition study of a Howie Post comic, for one of John K's lessons. I'll upload a higher quality image as soon as I find the damn CD for my scanner!
